What we fix

From a cracked screen to a dead logic board.

Most shops can swap a screen. Far fewer can tell you why a phone that looks fine will not turn on. We do both, out of the same van.

  • Screen & LCD Replacement

Cracked, black, green or unresponsive. We carry screens for iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, Motorola and Xiaomi, and we show you the part before it goes in.

  • Battery Replacement

Dying by lunchtime, or swollen and pushing the screen out of the frame. A swollen battery is the one repair you should not put off.

  • Charging Ports & HDMI

Loose cable, slow charge, or nothing at all. Sometimes it is only lint packed into the port. We check that first, and if that is all it is, we tell you so.

  • Motherboard & Microsoldering

Boot loops, no power, no image, phantom restarts. Board-level diagnosis under a microscope — the work most shops send away or refuse.

  • Back Glass & Camera

Shattered rear glass and cracked camera lenses, replaced without disturbing the rest of the device.

  • Data Recovery

A phone that will not turn on is not the same as a phone that has lost everything. We bring dead boards back up to get the photos and contacts off.

Not sure which one you need? That is what the diagnosis is for — send a photo and we will tell you.

The mobile lab

It is not a toolbox in a trunk. It is a workshop.

Behind the doors: a workbench, a stereo microscope, a soldering and microsoldering station, a pegboard of parts and tools, a rolling tool chest and a monitor — the same setup a good fixed shop runs, on four wheels.

  • Microscope and microsoldering station on board
  • Parts and tools stocked on the wall, not ordered in
  • Diagnosis happens on site, in front of you

How it works

Four steps, one visit.

  1. 01

    Tell us what happened

Call or text a photo of the damage. We tell you what is likely wrong and what it will take to fix it before anyone drives anywhere.

  2. 02

    The van comes to you

Home, work, or a parking lot on the way. Inside it is a full bench — microscope, soldering station, parts and tools.

  3. 03

The repair happens in front of you

Your device never leaves your sight. You see the part that comes out and the part that goes in.

  4. 04

You test it before we leave

Screen, touch, cameras, charging, Face ID. We do not pack up until you have checked it yourself.

Main board expert

The repair other shops hand back.

When the fault is on the board itself, swapping parts will not find it. It takes a microscope, a schematic and someone who can solder at that scale. Boot loops, no power, no image, phantom restarts — that is our work.

Why people call us back

Straight answers, and you get to watch.

  • We work at board level

Most shops swap parts. When the fault is on the logic board itself, they send it away — or hand it back. We put it under the microscope and repair the board. A technician sent us one of these jobs from his own bench.

  • We will talk you out of a repair

A customer expected to pay for a new charging port. The port was only dirty, so we cleaned it and charged less. It has happened more than once, and we posted it both times.

  • You see the part before it goes in

We explain the difference between part grades instead of hiding it, and we know iOS logs every replacement under Settings › Parts & Service History. You will not find out later.

  • English, Português, Español

You explain the problem in your own language. On Cape Cod that matters, and it is why a lot of our work arrives by word of mouth.

What we work on

If it has a board in it, we have probably opened one.

  • Phones iPhone 8 through 16 Pro Max · Samsung Galaxy S & A series · Motorola · Xiaomi Redmi
  • Laptops MacBook and Windows laptops — including recovering work off a machine that would not boot
  • Consoles PlayStation 5 — including HDMI port replacement
  • Drones DJI — arm and motor replacement on a Mini 2
  • Tablets iPad and Android tablets

Who turns up

The person who answers is the person who fixes it.

No call centre and no queue. You talk to the technician, the technician drives over, and the technician does the work in front of you.

You can watch the job before you ever call us — every repair goes up on Instagram, mistakes and all.

Questions

The things people ask before they call.

How does a mobile repair actually work?

Call or text us a photo of the damage. We tell you what we think is wrong and what it will take to fix before anyone drives anywhere. Then the van comes to you — your driveway, your office lot, wherever you are — and the repair is done on the spot while you watch.

Do you really come to my house?

Yes. That is the whole business. There is no shop to drop your device off at and no waiting a few days to get it back. The bench, the microscope, the soldering station and the parts are all in the van.

What if my phone will not turn on at all?

That is exactly the kind of job we are set up for. A dead phone usually means the fault is on the logic board, not in a part you can swap. We diagnose it under a microscope and repair the board itself — including phones that boot-loop or restart every couple of minutes.

Can I still get my photos off a phone that is dead?

Often, yes. A phone that will not turn on is not the same as a phone that has lost everything — the storage is usually fine and the fault is elsewhere on the board. We bring dead boards back up specifically to get the photos and contacts off.

Do you fix anything besides phones?

Laptops, PlayStation consoles, tablets and drones, alongside iPhone, Samsung, Motorola and Xiaomi handsets. If it has a board in it, bring it to us — or rather, let us bring the bench to it.

What parts do you use?

We show you the part before it goes in and explain the difference between the grades available, because they are not all the same and the price follows. iOS also logs every replacement under Settings › General › Parts & Service History, so there is no version of this where you find out later.

What if the repair is not worth doing?

We tell you. It happens often enough that we post about it: a customer expecting to pay for a new charging port, where the port was only packed with lint. We cleaned it and charged less. We would rather talk you out of a repair than sell you one you do not need.

What areas do you cover?

Cape Cod and the surrounding towns. If you are not sure whether you are in range, call and ask — and if you are further out, we also take devices by mail. We have repaired a phone shipped down from Boston.

My battery is swelling and pushing the screen out. Is that urgent?

Yes — treat it as urgent. A swollen lithium battery is a fire risk and the pressure will crack the screen if it has not already. Stop charging it and call us.

Do you speak Portuguese or Spanish?

Yes. English, Português and Español. You explain the problem in whichever one you are comfortable in.
